The CSU Fullerton Auxiliary Services Office of Sponsored Programs provides post-award administration and support services for research Grants and Contracts awarded to the University. In most instances, contracts and proposals for grants are developed by individual faculty members in conjunction with the Office Of Grants and Contracts (pre-award). Those Grants and Contracts awarded to the University are then administered by the Sponsored Programs staff in accordance with the terms and conditions outlined in the award. In addition to the direct costs of the research or program itself, most awards also include indirect costs (or overhead), which is used for supporting pre and post awards administration expenses incurred by the ASC and generates additional funds for the University in further support of research activities.
